acceptance of bid, we require a non-refundable deposit
of $250 to guarantee party date. All bookings are on first-come,
first serve basis. If event is cancelled
at any time, client will relinquish $250 deposit under any circumstances. $250 deposit guarantees the date for event
and other inquiries for the same date from other clients may have been turned
down.
All
deposits will be applied toward final bill.
Final Guest Count must be given 10 days before event. At this time, we require 50% of total invoice
or payment in full if client does not want to be bothered the day of
event. Due to the nature of perishable
goods purchased (ingredients / food), this 50% payment
is also non-refundable. The day of
event, we require remainder of payment before event begins.
Delivery and Set-up Policy
Tables for
the buffet are to be provided by the client.
Circumstances due to traffic, bad weather or last minute changes to original
order are beyond our control but we’ll notify clients as soon as possible. During peak lunch and dinner hours, deliveries
may be made up to one hour prior to your designated time. You are welcome to pick up your order from
our kitchen. No service charges or
delivery charges will apply to pick up orders.
We must get a credit card number on all pick up orders.

The first 50% down
payment is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation made less than 10 days prior

fax, or leave a message for changes or cancellations. Any changes or cancellations made this way
are not valid. You must speak with one of our
catering coordinators for any changes or cancellations.

Prices
Prices on
our menus and website may be subject to change due to market price fluctuation
and product availability. Substitutions
and additions on any menu will reflect price changes on the final invoice. We recommend clients request a new price
quote if there are any additions or substitutions. Price changes may vary.
Tastings
We host
monthly tastings at our kitchen. The menu is at our chef’s discretion and not
necessarily what you have selected for your menu. The charge is $50 per person. You must have a reservation for these events and
payment must be made prior to the tasting date.
Please call for times and details.
Staffing Charges
Charge for
serving staff is $150 per server and $175 per bartender. Staff pricing is calculated approximately 4-5
hours per server/bartender which includes one hour for set-up and one hour for
breakdown. Staff charges are calculated
as a flat rate for duration of event. It
is up to the staff’s discretion for breakdown of buffet (usually this is
when people either stop eating, or when the food has been sitting out for a
long period and should be packaged and stored for safe handling). Should your
event run longer than 5 hours, the charge is $25 per hour, per
server/bartender. We pride ourselves in
providing only the best and most professional servers and bartenders in the
industry.
Damages and Liability
Client is
responsible for ensuring that the table used for set-up and any flammable items
including our décor material is protected from the heat source of our
chafers. If our staff is not hired to be
present at client’s event, the client accepts responsibility for the unattended
chafing dishes and all of Three Chicks Catering equipment. Three Chicks Catering
does not assume or accept any responsibility due to negligence or accident
caused by the client or attendees of the client’s event that caused any damage
as a result. Missing or damaged
equipment, décor, place settings, centerpieces, linens, serving utensils, salad
bowls, platters, dishes and any rental equipment will be billed at replacement
cost to client. It is the responsibility
of the client to ensure that all of Three Chicks Catering’s catering properties
are present when the driver arrives for pick up. Any item(s) not picked up may incur
additional charges if the driver has to make an additional trip to the client’s
location to retrieve the item(s).
Equipment/items that are not picked up on the same day require the same
responsibility of the client to ensure that the equipment/items are not lost,
missing, or damaged.
Food Safety
Our food
is prepared fresh daily in our licensed commercial kitchen and stored at safe
temperatures at all times. The client is
welcome to keep left over food from the buffet, however, Three Chicks Catering
does not accept responsibility for the handling or preparation of food after an
event. Due to Washington State Food
Handling Laws, we are not allowed to prepare or handle food provided by or
prepared by the client or the client’s attendees. If you have a special dish or family recipe
that you would like at your event, we will happily accommodate requests
submitted in advance.
